A Study on Effecting of Education about Welfare Care Services for the Elderly Care on Needs, Awareness and Using Experience of Elderly

Abstract
|

|
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the effect on the information provided about Welfare Nursing Care for the elderly care on needs, awareness and using experience of elderly.
Methods: This quasi-experiment study for more than 65 years old man a local community was conducted by using nonequivalence studies before and after the control design.
Results: In terms of the needs about Welfare Nursing Services of experiment group and control group after the treatment, there was no significant difference between them(t=-1.180, p=.242). In terms of the awareness about Welfare Nursing Services of experiment group and control group after the treatment, there was significant difference between them(t=9.122 p<.001).
Conclusion: In terms of the using experience about Welfare Nursing Services of experiment group and control group after the treatment, control group was no significant difference between them. Through the communication and promotion of the elderly Welfare Care services, the needs, awareness, experience about Welfare Care services was to know whether there is a real change, it was possible to verify through research that there was a change in awareness and experience.
